IRS in my Fox...

Yup, i'm considering doing this. I'm gonna be moving back up to New Jersey soon it seems like a good move. The car will not be seeing a lot of track duty since I don't like driving a long distance to race. Basically just a fun street car. And with the shitty roads NJ has an IRS seems to be a smart upgrade. Has anyone on here done it or can you point me in the direction of someone's thread who has? Just looking for some pointers and maybe someone wiling to swap with me. Thanks in advance. :thumbsup1:

The IRS is something like 2 3/4 wider than the SRA on a Foxbody so to pull it off you are going to need to get some wheels with some pretty crazy offsets, and backspacing which IMO makes it look unattractive. The IRS does have its perks those, and I DD a fully built one on my 03 Cobra for years.

Did mine about 2 years ago, rolling on 99 cobras. Some day I'd like to work a wider wheel on the back. Feel free to ask any questions. I still need to finish my exhaust. Its not as nice as I'd like it, but its close.
