Area Get Togethers

OK Gang, I've got a challenge for everyone here!!!!! We have some set areas so to say now, with groups in the Upstate, SC; Columbia, SC; Atlanta, GA; Charlotte, NC; Centrel, NC; East coast, NC and Greensboro, NC areas. I would like to see each of these areas start having some type of GTG at least once every two months and post up some pictures from these events. They can be anything such as teh "drop in" RSW007 had a few weeks ago at his house for the Columbia area members, a Dinner & Movie night like we did here in the Upstate. I know it's cold weather and some of our foxes are down for rebuilds and such, but you all can still meet up and have a good time together; that is one thing we (as admins and mods) want to see this club doing. Chuck I know many of the guys in your area don't get online much, but you can get with them and set it up!
And I'm not forgetting our members in other states, I would like to see you do the same in your area.

Reason I'm asking this of everyone is in the month, I have been asked many times about our club. People have walked up to me at different events or even just somewhere while I was wearing one of my SEFB shirts. Our club name is getting out there!!!! And people are liking how we roll in together and do things as more of a family, not just a club. And you don't know how happy that makes me feel to know that Johnny, KB, Trai, Greg and myself came up with the idea for this family, and see it growing like it is!:yes1:

Hell maybe we can make this a challenge with some kind of prize or reward to the group/area that has to biggest turn outs over a year.

So come on gang what do ya'll have to say about this??

Been looking into doing a meet in the Concord area sometime after the 1st of the year. Seems like that would be a good place for the Charlotte, and surrounding area members.

Any one in eastern North Carolina say Greenville, Havelock, Atlantic Beach. I am game i have to stay close for now as i am in the military and we all know how that can be very demanding at the drop of a hat. but if anyone want to get it going i am game to help in anyway.

Concord is perfect for me. I know I would like to see it closer as always but 1.5 hour drive to see everybody isn't that bad. Maybe we can meet at the strip, run the cars, show the cars and then have dinner at QS&L, its not even a mile down the road. Just an idea.

You should do that Bones. I know a couple of sn95 guys and one guy has an 07 GT (getting the exhaust done as we speak) there is a sweet four eye GT that a guy I know has and another guy has a 90 GT but its still down with a blown engine and he doesn't have the cash to fix it. I'd love to get everyone together for a cruise and grill. hopefully most of us will be on the road next week and I can start planning.

I wish that I lived in NC that way I could hang out with you all more but I am stuck in WV and I have seen a few members in WV and some in VA I would like to get everybody close to meet up around here I have even try starting a club for mustang people in WV and VA to meet up and ride around and meet up like you all do up in NC but right now I have not had to much luck with it and I would like to get something started here and we all drive up to meet everybody there I'm not giving up on the idea it just takes time but I will try and come up to NC if I have to I really appreciate everybody on this site for what they do and hope that I can help when needed

there some of us on the coast. Chastown is only like an hour away from here. There are a lot of Foxbodies in town, but I always pass them and never get a chance to find them stationary. The ones I do find don't look like club material.

well I think a club is a great way to meet some nice people that share the same interest and I would like to find that in my area I will never know unless I try and if they don't want to then I will just have to drive alittle far to NC or so to find some people that do want to share the interest and this site is awesome with alot of great people and this site has inspired me to try and get a club stated and I can't wait to meet everybody at mustang week or june 27th at the track

Hey guys,I am still planning a little get together here at my home for sometime in the near future. I have a relatively small yard,and even smaller bank account,but I still want to do something for the club members,as well as future ones in the area,as well as whoever else wants to come,all is welcome! (I'm sure my neighboirs will love it,lol :taunt:) As I finallize the details I will post up the date and time. This is my first attempt at something like this so if it ends up a disaster dont blame me,lol jk I know it'll be a blast! Its just a little way of showing my appreciation for you guys being there for me when I was going through hell the past few months!

how about the ne florida area...jacksonville,op,middleburg..ect......theres lots of foxes down here and every saturday night we have a cruise in/show...first coast car council sponsors it(all makes models) and the at home depot on argyle we have a good size meet with all types of cars are here to.i have a club..."fast fords of north florida" that i would like to get going again.at one time we had over 25 members.it was a blast.
