The longer the primary header pipe, the lower the peak torque rpm. But it really depends on your specific engine build as to the "best" for your application. Some will tell you shorties are the way to go and some will tell you long tubes are the way to go. You would probably only see a difference on track time slips anyway. All I did was just called Jegs and ordered a set of Dynomax shorties.

yes, carb or not. your 302 is still a 5.0. and 5.0 headers will fit on any 5.0..

I think the headers for a 94/95 Mustang are different than those for a Fox body car. Not sure what car you have, both are 5.0 engines.

Sale it and get an EFI, lol. All of those questions you just asked all depend on what is done to the car, what our plans are for the car and how much $$ you plan on spending.

Was your lx an orginal 5.0 car. If so I would to go back to efi because the lx coupe 5.0s have become a desired car. If you stick with carbed then don't listen to those people who try to tell you to go with a big carb. A 600-650cfm is plenty of carb for a stock or mildly moddified 302. Also if your car was origanly a four banger it probably has a 7.5" rearend, which are weak rearends so you should upgrade to an 8.8" rearend. (can be found in 86 and up GTs) But it doesn't matter how well a car runs if you can't control it, so make sure your brakes and suspension is in order. Saftey first:thumbsup1:

well, i can't say from experience, but i've heard great comments on the Speed Demon carbs. all i know is i hate the junky edelbrock on my 82 and i don't have a few hundred dollars to go spend on a carb. the Speed Demon carbs are pricey. like $4-500.
