The NC Chapter of UnitedStangs will hold it's next monthly meet/cruise-in at Boxcar Grille in Statesville, NC, off I-40, at 6:30 PM on 10-29-10.
This SPOOKTACULAR G2G will feature special trick-or-treat bags for all of the kids that come with their families. All of the kids are encouraged to draw/color a Halloween/harvest picture of their very own and feature a Mustang in it and put their name and age on the picture. We will post these up on the forum here and on Facebook to share with everyone to get them in the mood of the season. Appropriate Halloween costumes are welcome to be worn (no gore, messy or adult themes).
We will share about events, enjoy seeing old and new friends, check out the rides that come in, share Mustang magazines and catalogs, have a good meal, and hold our 50/50 raffle with cash and prizes. This family-oriented event will give us a time to catch up, as well as to see what is coming up for November and December this year.
NC CHAPTER T-SHIRTS: If you want in on the t-shirts, PLEASE plan to place your order at this meet and pre-pay. Costs should be around $10 each adult or child sized shirt and 2xl or larger plan on $2 more. I am also going to plan to be at the Valdese cruuise-in before this meet and can take your order and payment there if you cannot make it on 10-29-10. Otherwise, if you want a shirt and can't make either time then let me know so that you can arrange to meet up with me to pre-pay and order so I can get this in to Kenny on 10-29-10.
NC CHAPTER 2011 CALENDARS: This is underway I hope to have this ready for ordering by 10-29-10. Pre-payment is required. The calendars will cost $20 each which included the production/printing and shipping/handling. If I can get a reduced price from this, I will refund that to each individual on delivery of their order.
NC CHAPTER DECALS: I will have a LIMITED number of oval full color decals available for $5 each and the quarter-window decals available for $2 each in white or silver.
And... for those who would dare to venture as a group or family after the meet, the Catawba Science Center in Hickory will be holding their "Fright Light" Spooky Halloween laser show with music such as Michael Jackson’s Thriller, Prodigy’s Firestarter, Blue Oyster Cult’s Godzilla and more. Non-messy and appropriate Halloween costumes are welcome at the Center. This showing will be at 10:00 p.m. on 10-29-10. Tickets are $5 for CSC members, $8 non-members. You can call (828) 322-8169 to purchase in advance or get further information. Tickets not claimed by show start time may be resold. Doors close five minutes after show start time and cannot be re-opened. No refunds are given by the Center. The Center is located on the SALT Block, 243 Third Ave. NE, Hickory, NC, and is online at www.CatawbaScience.org for more.
ALL ARE WELCOME! Invite friends and family. You do not have to have a Mustang to participate! Wreckless driving is not allowed and each participant is encouraged to obey all traffic laws and drive safely. We want you to have a GREAT time and here is to seeing you and yours there!
