ok guys so heres my dilema. i just put chrome valve covers on my car, in the holes i put the rubber gromets and the all chrome valve cover breathers. The little breathers spew the smoke and i dont know why. It gets in the car real bad when i'm driving and stinks bad. PLEASE HELP!!!!! What should i do??

does the engine have high milage??? if so it could be excessive blow by!!!

really dont know. the car was a four cylinder car and the guy that had it before me put that motor in it.

It sounds like blow by to me also. Do the v/c's have baffles in them? If not, then this could be most of the problem. You could do a pcv valve to send it back into the intake, but is something I don't really suggest.

yes the v/c do have the baffles in them. what do u guys suggest for blow by? is there anything that i can do? besides rebuilding the motor

yeah i agree with greg... maybe u mite want to put ur old valve covers back on!!!
