Well I woke up this morning with my throat hurting and my hand throbbing, so I called into work. Yea I was going to be lazy and stay in bed all day. Kelly has today off work, and has plans to go to see her mother.
Well she gets up and go outside to feed our zoo, only to come back in and get me up. One of our female hybrids was dead. Seems she most have froze to death. We have two females in that kennel along with two dog houses but they fight over one house and hardly ever use the other. God rest her soul, she was laying between the fence and dog house. I can only hope she went quietly in her sleep.
It was interesting, to say the least; seeing me with one hand bagged up trying to get her out of there and keeping the other one from jumping all over me. With one hand in stitches, and the other arm hurting like a ***** from the tetanus spot, they was no way I could dig a hole. O Kelly is on her way now to her sister's place in Reidville were our brother-in-law is going to use his bobcat, and make her a a nice grave in the woods there.
Ya'll please keep Kelly in your thoughts and prayers; anyone that knows her, knows animals are her life. She is taken this pretty hard right now.
