Got a chance to do a couple of things to our GT last week. We installed the Stainless Works long tubes on the car and could really feel the difference. The car sounds alot better even with the stock mufflers. We'll get it on the dyno this week and if the drag radials get here we'll get back to the track. Here is a few pics we took.

Looking good:thumbsup1:. How difficult was the install? On my '02 GT I pulled the front cradle to install my longtubes.

Metco upper and lower control arms with IC brackets, 4.10 gears, JLT cold air, Stainless works long tubes. Front sway bar delete with radiator support and drag radials will be here this week. The 4.10's and tune got me to 8.1@89 mph. (I hope) I can't wait to see if the headers hurt my low end at the track. Had a little hop when it shifted into 2nd but the control arms fixed that. What tuner are you getting. I have to get mine back on the dyno to adjust for the long tubes. If I don't have the drag radials by friday I won't go to the track till next week.

These cars are sweet. We have one at the dealership for a clutch the other week. With tires, tune and a K&N it went a best of 7.44 @92 and consistant 7.47-9's. Quickest I've seen it in the quarter has been an 11.65

Clutch upgrade or cluth blow out?
X2 .... My clutch/trans doesn't seem to be performing up to par .... Its almost like the clutch is not fully disengaging but the car doesn't roll when the clutch is pressed in our anything .... Just doesn't go into gear all that smoothly ... What dealership do you work at? I may need to bring mine in to have it looked at.

I work at Freeman Ford in Liberty North Carolina. The slave cylinder blew out and trashed the clutch. We replaced it with a Ram replacement and flywheel at the customer's expense. We have seen issues with the clutches after a tune they stick to the floor after 6800 or so RPM, the new ram hasn't had that issue yet, but it smells like clutch burning after every pass... Don't know if its good or bad.
If your clutch doesn't feel right you can perform a "home bleed" and see if it helps. Park the car on a flat level surface. with the engine off pump the pedal to the floor 20 times quickly but making sure to let the pedal completely come back to the full upright position before you go back down with it. I have done it to numerious cars in here 05+ and it has helped the clutch "feel" a good bit.

Dont need to open up any bleeder valve or anything?

Sure if you can find it, lol. There is no bleeder, its a sealed system. For a first time bleed you need to pull a vacuum on the system to start the air coming to the top, then pump it 20 times, and vacuum, pump, etc 5 times.
