Today was the last day for business at Norris Ford. They had moved all the cars off the lot by the end of day yesterday so today was the last day to buy parts and service vehicles today. It was sad because there were customers that came in that said they had been dealing with the Ford dealer in Pickens no matter who owned it for 10, 20 and more than 30 years. Everyone was kind and asked where I was going and if I had a job to go to and wished us a Merry Christmas.

Also ...I have a job.......at Vic Bailey Ford Lincoln Mercury. I start on Monday so I have a little mini vacation. Honestly I can't wait to start.
They always say when one door in your life closes another door opens.
I just hope everyone who I worked with has success at their new job or finds one if they didn't have one after today. All in all it was a good day.....just not all happy though

i know i'm late on this post, but i'm glad you found a job as soon as you did. I'm a GM tech who has been laid off for three weeks now! Talk about hard to find a job when your company is on the brink of going broke.

Well I hope you find a job here real soon.......that sucks to hear that there are good techs out there and no work for them. Maybe things will turn around after the first of the year. I can't imagine a GM tech out of work......seems like they are always breaking LOL
