Hi guys i finally got a chance to take the car out to the strip. It was my 1st time as well. Needless to say my heart was beating through my chest. and i was bout as nervous as a long tail cat in a room full of rocking chairs.
1st time down i cut a .763 light and the 2nd go round i cut a .148!!! i was stoked!!! im looking forward to improving times and what not! i loved it :p

Must have let off before the 1/4?
Don't worry about cutting lights right now as they have no affect on the et's. Just concentrate on learning how to come off the line the best and hitting the gears.

Yeah i did. I was kinda wiery about running it because i cant tell whether she is running how or not. but ill do that next thursday

Where are you running at? Yeah, don't worry about r/t. The clock doesn't start until you leave the beam. What are the mods done to your ride?

im running at Jackson SC aka the House of Hook. My car is mostly stock. Its got a cat back, cold air kit and a mean granny shifter for a driver :hi:

how did your 1/8 and 1/4 MPH stay the same? Sunday cruise? Like said before gotta start somewhere. I was nervous as hell my first time in the fox too.

I was off and on the throttle towards the end... I dont know why. lol

It takes time to get used to it. I've been racing for three years and i still get nervous. But you will get the hang of it.

Practice, Practuce, Practice. That is what everyone keeps telling me, and as soon as I have my tranny rebuilt, thats exactly what I plan to do! Good luck with future passes:thumbsup1:

on my first run i forgot i had and auto with 2.73 gears so when the light turnd green i punched it and got a horrible time lol :thumbsup1: but iv ben practacing and im getting better
