Anyone run or have experience with the AEM wideband A/F gauge. Its about $100 cheaper than the Autometer brand meters and I am just wondering if this is a "get what you pay for" part or not. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

I just installed one in my friends SRT4, and its a real nice setup. Its definitely not cheap, and i think alot of people run them.

I figured that since it was AEM then it was a quality piece but just wanted an opinion from someone who had experience with one before I bought one and was dissapointed. Thanks for your reply.

Anyone have any cons about this meter before I order it?

I recall reading this article that compared several different brands of Widebands. The ultimate conclusion was that the Innovate was the most accurate, and was the only one that required a free air calibration. I went with the LC-1 myself and have been pleased with the results. The price is about the same.

I have the AEM in my coupe. I like it. We have one in a buddies SN95 car and on the DynoJet it was within .1 AFR of their sensor.

Received my meter today, hopefully get it installed soon. Should I install the sensor into the bank 2 side since cylinder (8 or 5?) I believe is the leanest, or does it not matter? Thanks for any advice

I have mine in my right bank and my buddies in the left bank. I don't think that its going to make a huge difference.

We carry these and always have them in stock. We sell them for the same price as Summit.

These are hands down more accurate than the Autometer wideband gauges.
