I'm Installing long tube headers and have to remove the dipstick & tube. Well the tube broke off right at the block. Any ideas how to remove the remaining portion without removing the engine.:cussing:

No, it broke off flush. I might try an easy out or a reverse drill bit. Unless someone has any other ideas.

Can you get a bolt to thread down in there? the dipstick metal is soft so the bolt will bite in pretty good then pull the bolt with vice grips :)

I use a hammer and chisel knock it into the pan and using my spiffy Snap-On bendy magnet and go through the oil drain plug and get the parts out. Easiesy way I've found.
