I'm doing the 5 lug setup on my car and will be running the buillits until january and getting new wheels in january. I'm looking for somthing atleast 18's in the rear with a wide lip. Heres what i found so far. Is there any other wheels that i haven't seen? Also, post some pics of it i would like to see what they look like. I've seen most of them on coupes and i want to see some on gt's.
These are the ssr gt3's

this thread is full of mis information.
the first set of wheels you are correct about. but to be honest, 9" drums behind 18" wheels looks kinda silly after awhile... trust me i know.
the second set of wheels are after market. they are deep dish 10th anniversary wheels. the look nothing like the origionals though. there are a few pics of these wheels on corral.
the third wheels are FR500's. they are oem based, but the only oem size is 18x9. the car you have show has 17x9s up front and 17x10.5s in the rear. the car also runs deep into the 9's, and maybe the 8s by now, and has a chute on the back. novi357 on corral and other forums. these are the oem ford wheels, this is the car that made me want fr500's. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2049766
most of the time 17x10.5s look down right stupid on the rear, the sit way high, the rubber is too small and the rear track looks much smaller than the front.
but hey, just my opinion.

i don't know if i want to go with a 10.5 on the rear, i think that's to wide but i do want a bigger lip. On the after market cobra wheels can you get me a picture of them on a car b/c my computer won't let me on corral. I'm thinking no bigger than tens. I like the fr500's and my dad checked into it and he can get 17x9's and 17x10's and the same goes for 18's. He can order any oem wheel in just about anysize. I also looked at the sorta 5 star saleen wheel but i didn't see one with a lip. Do they make those with a lip in the rear?

17" fr500 are 10.5" wide. 18s are 10" wide. which is whats on the rear of my car.
no saleens with a rear lip.
most the knock offs dont look "right" even my fr500s arnt that close to real ones.

I'm probaly gonna end up with the Deep Dish 10th anniversary Cobra Replica wheel like that guy. They look pretty good and are alot cheaper than the ssr's.

about a grand with no tires but if i'm gonna keep the car i'm gonna make it badass. I had the chance to trade it and my two racing karts for a 5 second datsun but i'm trying my best to keep this car:lol1::lol1:

I know alot of people have been asking when these wheels were going to be released & after the loooong wait, here they are...
They are deep dish 10th anniversary Cobra replicas that I got off Ebay. The sizes are 17X9 & 17X10. These arent the same crappy ones with the large front lip that 50resto will be selling, these are only available from OE wheels & the quality is the same as all the wheels I have bought from wheelreplicas. There are subtle differences between these & the OEM ones like the curvature of the spokes by the lip, but they still look great IMO & I will be swapping out the centercaps for some SVT or running pony caps... I Cant wait to mount these on the Notch!!!

First off the cars dirty, needs tailpipes and brake lines ran before it will be mobile but this is the best I could do to make everyone happy. Also the rear needs lowered some more but my springs are to tall on my coilover setup. The ground is a little lower on the passenger side vs the driver so it sets crooked.
Specs:
94-95 Spindles
MMR coilover front and rear
10th Anniversery Cobra calipers
Fox length moser axles
North racecars brackets
Front Tires:
BFG 275/40/17
Rear Tires:
Mickey Thompson 275/40/17 Street ET radials
I used these tires because they were on my old 10th Anniverery wheels and didn't really want to buy new ones. A 275 series on the front is big on a fox body but I think anything smaller than that won't fit square. The Mickey Thompsons run wide for there size and sit square on the rim. I think a Nitto of the same size would look to small on these rims.

The 10th annys are bad ass I had them on my coupe but let me warn you if you run the lincoln rotors on the fox bodies the 17X9's rubbed like hell under the front of mine.
