Well, the end of this month I moving from the Jacksonville, FL area to the Atlanta, GA area. FL does not test emissions, but GA does.

My DD (92 5.0 5spd Notch) has longtubes and an O/R H pipe. I need to add cats and would like to get some hi-flow ones in a shortie H pipe.

The rub is that from what I have read, it is recommended that the shortie mid pipe should be from the same manufacturer as the long tubes and I have no idea who made the longtubes I have on the car (installed by a previous owner).

Are shortie midpipes not a standard form factor? Any way to tell who makes the headers? Can I make a measurement or two on the current h pipe to determine what brand will fit? Any insight / recommendatrions welcome.

Thanks all. :)

get the ones from pypes and cut them in one at a time and clamp them with the supplied clamps.

I'll check them out. Thanks for the suggestion. :thumbsup1:
