If everything goes threw saturday with puttputt, then i will be doing the 5 lug swap on the gt i just got. This is what i will have.1996 spindles and rotors, fox length axles, and some bullit wheels. He said that i will need to buy some bearing and seals and I think one brake line and a set of brake pads because he bent one of the pads taking them off. Is this all that i am gonna need and how long am i looking at? I was gonna take the eibach springs off of the front anyways so i know i need them springs so the front wheels will fit.

you will need 6 5/8ID washers, i used big grade 8 ones from lowes. 3 per side. they go on the ball joint under the spindle. this raises the spindle up anought for the king nut to work right with the locking pin.

you will need an adapter for the passenger side brake line. it goes between the hardline and the softline. because the passenger side brake hose has a weird thread.

do the axle bearings and seals while you're there. "borrow" the tool from autozone to pull the bearings out, makes life much easier. rear end cover gasket. two quarts of rear end oil, a tube of friction modifier. bottle of brake fluid.

shoot me a price on the draglites you're pulling off.

Everything here looks good so far. You only need the newer M/C and proportioning valve if you're going to rear discs. I also dont use a gasket on the diff cover, but thats up to you...

the adapter you will need is a Weatherhead 7828. napa or o'reillys will be your best bet to get it.

my initial 5 lug swap was rear drum, then later did the rear disk... drum is so much easier.

i'm trading the draglites for the setup and bullits

i'm just gonna stick with the drum, my dad is the manager at a big tire shop so they should have the tool and he used to do this kind of work and has like 30k into his tool box so he should have it

its not a tool... its an adapter.
