this is one of my borla xr-1's. i guess this i what i get for not taking it to the muffler shop!! just a little carnage for you guys.
also, i was wanting better sound out of these things. i have longtubes and an x pipe but it wasnt deep enough for me. how would an h pipe differ? i am getting a new x or h soon. my engine has a stage two cam and about 10:1 compression ratio also.

that SUCKS...
to your mid pipe question: from what I understand the x pipe is a bit raspy where the h is a bit deeper? I've personally always known the x as a mod mid pipe and the h as a pushrod mid pipe but thats all personal preference.

That sucks. My dad had his whole exhaust with claps and never a problem, but once you put it on and run it awhile you have to go torque them all again and should never have a problem. But welding is always good.

yeah i ran over a railroad crossing and then came to a stop sign. the i accel. and then it feel off. sounded like the driveshaft draging but i was like there is no way. then it hit the curb and tucked between the axle and sway bar.
@chuckles. thanks for the input. like you said i did sound raspy with my set up. i am now leaning torwards the h pipe.

Its all in what you like, I prefer the X pipe on a push rod motor. Kind of gives it that mean road racer sound.
