FYI Gang, after the track and crew was paid out of the money taken in at the gate, we ended up raising almost $1400 dollars to donate to American Cancer Society in memory of Mike Ashcraft!!! Terry, Mark Kevin and me will be getting together next week and giving a cert check to the Asheville Chapter of the American Cancer Society and we will post up a few pics once we do.

Thanks once again to all of you that came out to support this event and we look forward to planning more events like it in the future.

i am PROUD of what everyone did to make this a success in honor of Mike. Stangers are the best people out there... coming together like this for such a great cause proves it that much more:thumbsup1:

Well due to work and other things coming up Kevin and me couldn't make it to Asheville today but Terry did take the check to the American Cancer Society office this afternoon. Thanks to Terry and other members of SEFB's Western NC Chapter for putting our 1st track day together for us!!!!

Thank you Tom you worked your butt off that day! But guys when I handed them the check even though the event was fun, that really made it worth it and THANK ALL OF YOU for supporting the event. They really were grateful and when I told them it was going to be an annual event they were very pleased and offered to help anyway they could. SEFB is a great group of people and I am proud to be apart of it.
