Just got my UPR K Member installed, when i tried to "Mock Up" my new
Flaming River FR1504P steering shaft it did not fit shaft too long 8" long.
So I called them and was told It has to be cut,
Is this true?
Has anyone here had to cut a new shaft from Flaming River?
Guy tells me due to different aftermarket K Member units they have to cut to fit.

I put my manual rack in and had to cut nearly 2 inches off for it to fit in the knuckle correctly. Funny thing was, mine still has the stock k-member under it. So unfortunatley, time to take a saw to a brand new part! :thumbsdown1:

X2. It is mild steel and didnt take long to cut through. But remember, measure twice cut once. LOL
