How much nitrous can Hyper pistons handle SAFELY with a proper tune and good A/F ratios???
Pump gas....around 200, some type of high octane.....250-275

Wow, really. I am going to MAYBE shoot 100-150. 150 MAX, prob 100 and if it doesn't do it 125.

bro-n-law shot a 200 shot safely. it's all how it's tuned. long as you avoid detonation you're golden.

I always like my car a bit fat and leave a couple hp on the table then a bit lean, detonation and Sunday pistons(that would be extra Holy).
You will be fine with that. As long as the tune is right on.

Like everyone has said, get a good tune and you will be fine. My friend Ben sprays 175 on hypers, and he sprays the hell out of the stock 302.:yes1: He should have his own nitrous refill station.:lol1::lol1::lol1:

This is the back up plan incase the 347 N/A won't get it done, I have a good "insurance policy" in the trunk.

As everyone has said, detonation is the killer. When you talk tune ups, you also need to make sure that the nitrous vs fuel (nitrous to fuel ratio) for the kit is correct. What type of system do you have?

I have a NOS Cheater kit with 2 10lb bottles. It currently in install in my 69 with a plate but I haven't used it in about 1 1/2 years. If I do shoot the 91 it will either be a fogger in the CAI or a spacer plate.

Do you have the factory jetting charts? If you will list what they say to run, I will give you the N/F ratio on them...need to know what fuel pressure and what bottle pressure....

I use an online jet calculator, but I will post the jet sizes for fuel and nitrous and the bottle and fuel pressure. I don't remember the jet sizes for the 69 but one of them was a 42... the other????

I run my other car in a bracket race, points racing but this is my little grudge car, just between my buddies and some other friends. I got a buddy with a pullied 03 cobra chomping at the bit to show me his tail lights.

If this car is your daily driver, you might wanna take it easy with sprayin' her. Stay away from the big shots.....unless you have an extra car to get you to work. Seems like ive heard alot of **** about nitrous being really risky.
"Nitrous is like a fine ass hooker.....you wanna hit it....but youre afraid of the consequences" :lol1:

i have sprayed every stang i have owned but 1 as long as it is right you it is safe but any small thing can affect it such as just getting some bad gas... and for the hyper pistons i have seen articles where people bust the block and the pistons be fine
