I have a set of chrome ponies that the chrome is coming off pretty bad. Was thinking about sandblasting the chrome off and polishing it to a shiny finish to much work??? Or just buy a set of used silver ponies and be done with it?

U can do that but good luck getting the nickel coating off.. its a P.I.T.A.... i did some tri bars.. sandblasted then and had area where the nickel was pealing and places that it wouldnt come off had to grind the area where it was coming off and feather it in to make it smooth! I have a set of nice ponys with good tires if ur interested $200!
