Well, a really good friend of mine (also my former college roommate) has gotten REALLY big into auto detailing. He's into it enough that he spent a total of 26 hours on his DD Integra :yes1:
He told me that if I bought a $12 bottle of cleaner, he'd do it for free. Sooooo needless to say, I'm letting him do it :lol1:
Process:
Wash- Meguiar's Gold Class
Clay- Meguiars Brand
Polish- Meguiars M205
Glaze- #7 Meg's Show Car Glaze
Wax- Meguiar's NXT 2.0
Wheels/Bay- Meguiars APC+
Tires- Armor All Tire Foam
Interior/Dressing- Meguiars Hyperdressing
Here are a couple pics that he's sent me so far.

nice work..although using a glaze hides imperfections instead of correcting them..a M105/M205 combo will allow you to fully correct the paint without having to use a glaze..just FYI
you have a good friend if he did that for a bottle of polish...my customers would love me if i did that but i spend 6-8 hours on each car for a full correction and time is money for my detailing business :thumbsup1:

The glaze is for the roof and spoiler where the clear on the 18 year old paint is cracking up... There's no correcting it without repainting, so a glaze is being applied to hide what can be hid :yes1:

ok..in my 14 years detailing ive stayed away from it when i can
if thats original paint on your car then it looks really good
here is a single pass of M105 and a single pass of 205 i did using LC yellow pads with my PC7224 finished on speed 5. as you can see with one pass even with direct 4000k halogen light the surface is perfect...no wax or polish...juts compound...even still to me M205 isnt finish quality for LSP application...you still need a fine polish to really get the piant to pop before wax/sealer

I understand what you're saying. However, the clear on the roof is just too thin...

Settle down hoss, all I said is that he lives in Statesville. The only advertising I'm doing is showing off his great work. My car is the first one he's done other than his own...
