This is my 95% stock 114k mile, 93 GT with the dreaded AOD and 2.73s. BOOO slow acceleration HOORAY 24 mpg!! My mechanic loaned me this car to drive while he had my 95 GT in his shop. Well, i liked it so much, I bought it three weeks later. One factor in deciding to invest was the fact that all the parts my SN95 ''outgrew'' would be ''hand me downs'' for my foxbody!! I have fought back every urge to begin the bolt on process but it looks like I'm going to have to give in. The only current modification to my car is a 65 mm throttle body/EGR plate. The day Benjy removed the stock piece, and realized he didn't have any carb cleaner, he decided to pull this brand new one off the shelf. I have a Flexalite Black Magic electric fan and an adjustable thermostat to install. I also had replaced every light on the front of the car with in the first few weeks of ownership. My plans for her include a total interior/exterior restoration, subframe connectors, strut tower brace, c/c plates, tubular upper.lower rear control arms, five lug/four wheel disc brakes, Pony R wheels, underdrive pullies, AFM quick kit 1, smog pump/EGR delete, 3G alternator conversion, 8000k HIDs and a partridge in a pear tree... Screw the AOD, I wanna swap in a 5 speed

the day i brought this beast home;

Sucks cuz I'm deep into a '95 GT right now, so my '93 is on the back burner, so to speak

Idk where to start... I want to swap a 5 speed in. I think that will be one of the 'best first mods' I can do for this car, besides five lug swap/four wheels discs. So, I'll be looking for some pedals soon :yes1:

That is a great start to a car, do what ever u feel like doin first. U wanna make it a nice, clean car, the work on the looks first, u dont really care what it looks like u just wanna go fast, then do that. Im workin on the the apperance of my car first, but thats just me

Great! It's nice you can see the "potential"...there's a diamond in every rough as they say, and you can see what you want it to become! Ok, here's the deal now...you've got to give us a running commentary as the work progresses & update the board as you move forward with your project with pics and all.

I know what you mean, I went the chassis, drivetrain, wheels/tires route first on my Sn95. Then I did full exhaust, every bolt-on I could find and blew it up LOL With this car, I'll likely 'follow in your footsteps' and do the interior and paint first.

I certainly will do just that! My first project was changing the headlights, corner lights, turn signals and fog lights out, but I didn't think to take pictures. So, next mod will be the Flexalite Black Magic fan install. I will document and take pictures. I can go one step further and dyno test each mod, IF my buddy will let me spin the rollers
