looks like he is only testing on a big turbo. no harm in that. we inspect every car closely and stand by the rules so i wouldnt worry to much about it. he said he might buy an 88mm and come race our NDRRA X275 series and we hope he does cause everyone is welcome. nice car. i think it will do good.

no offence to proline, and I am not choosing sides but him and fastlane have a history.

Who cares what he's doing with his car, it's his car. I feel like he's smart enough to know the rules of any class he choose's to run.

heres the post that started the arguement..it was being passed off as an 88mm, when it clearly wasn't.
see post #9 and post #40
post 9 says it IS an 88mm
post 40 says it was run at class spec

Interesting for sure. I still don't see why people are so upset. If he show's up at a 275 race he'll have to follow all the rules, and then everyone will see if he was telling the truth.

That's called Interweb racing guys. Happens every day in every class in every sanctioning body. I would bet that if he shows up the car will be lagal to run. Forget what he put on the internet. It's bench racijg. We all do at some time or another.

it wasnt caleb that claimed the car had an 88 on it....Taylor did and nobody else from fastlane corrected him when everyone knew it was BS...i think ryan and Talor figured the videos were gonna cause a shock and awe and make everyone scared...lol
at any rate..i hope calebs car does tech in for 275 rules and he competes....him and Mel just need to tell thier hype up crew to keep it real...

i dont know of any history . and the past is the past. my tech guy will not pass anyone thats not in rule regulations. im only commenting on this thread so other racers dont get the wrong impression. the man is welcome to race and as all cars will be legal . all turbos get gauged. he did say he wanted to run our series. so please dont take any offense to my post. thanks.

the hatchet has been burried with them...the YB thread shows that a few of us with prior beefs are letting it go..although i do think its BS that some of the "nut swingers" exaggerate a bit you cant really blame caleb.

I do not even know the story and do not want to, I do know that calebs mid section should be sore from the swingers, and agreed it is annoying that hpj is at the top of the rope. He tuned my father in laws car and went to great lengths to help us with some problems, and there are I am sure better tuners out there but we could not complain with the service we received. I think his groupies cause him a lot of problems. I hope he does compete in x275 he will have to earn it because HRE and HED got some tough acts to follow, and both camps will be ready to dish out some power. On another note Mike and NDRRA have done a great job with x275 it is one of the most fun classes to watch I have ever seen.

you hit the nail on the head buddy. some of his followers go out of thier way to act like a-holes. HPJ, although a very successful forum doesnt help matters but just like any other place, ya gotta sift throught the BS...we are with HED now and have some big hitters coming very soon to the 275 arena. the white coupe did well last year for the limited time it was out but watch out this year!

Pete built the 347 that was in my coupe, I only live about 6 or 7 miles from there. I have known him for years he is about as good with a sbf as you can get. Back in the day he was running twin incon turbos when nobody had ever seen a turbo mustang. the x275 class to me is better to watch than nhra, I look foward to some good showings this year. There are some bad rides in the building stages I can really see this class growing.

I did not know you worked there, I was there all the time when it was on 64 beside Brady Dodge. I bought a lot of parts there but I would not let them work on my car because I did not trust Richard.
