so I'm contemplating my options as far as rim choice goes.

I'm really liking the 2010 GT500 rim

do you guys think this (http://www.americanmuscle.com/machined-gt500-18x9-9410.html) would look good on the Rooster? and would they even FIT

or should I go with this (http://www.americanmuscle.com/silver-sc-4lug-17x8.html) (which I like, are 17s and would not require a full on lug conversion)

I have no idea if they'll fit without a major hassle, but the gt500 rims would look sick!...As long as they fit in the fenders right. I love those rims.

Do the conversion anyway. You'll have 10 times more wheel choices then. If your like me and change your mind alot. But i like the 500's anyway...

dont take the easy way out!... do the conversion an use the Saleen's w/ deep dish in the back!.... 5 lugs look WAY better than 4 IMO!

the offset of the wheels is different. youll want to use the wider rear end, and the 99-04 spindles to push the hubs out. the newer wheels suck under the car more. you may have to run a spacer as well. but the 05-09 wheels work on a fox, so the 2010+ should as well :)

I'm not really the kind of guy who changes his mind on rims a lot (I'd keep mine if they weren't 15s but the tire choices for 15 inch rims is next to nill.) so the large rim choice available to five lug cars isn't a huge selling point.

How much would a 5 lug swap cost about?

Is any one running a rim that big on a fox? 18 is a little bigger than I would normally think about putting on my car but I might could make the exception for these rims.

on the other hand: I've always liked to look of the SC rim.

18's don't have enought sidewall on the tire for my liking. and in a daily driver, i want as much sidewall as I can, esp with the crap roads. Which is was I went with 17's

Got a pic with the 17s? and what size tire are you running on them (just so I can get a reference)

The short side wall has always been my main reason for not liking 18+ rims...

IMO 17's fit a fox perfect.... good tire choices too!

these are 17x9's & 17x10.5's 315's on rear

17X9s fit up front no issue? If I stay 4 lug it's 8 up front 9 out back, if I do the swap its 9 up front and 10 out back. still not sure if I want to deal with the swap though...

GT 500's IMO. For the fitment, description says 94-10. I have 5 lug 18x9 on my car, they supposed to fit 94-04, and they rub a little when turning, with 275/35/18, other than that they're fine. If the back spacing is the same, they should work.

I'm not a big fan of option #2

I think those GT500 wheels would look killer on a silver or dark grey Fox ...someone photoshop so the image in my head can become real!!!!!!

I'm going to try and photo shop the GT500's onto my car and see what I think.

my biggest fear is the rubbing, I'd rather avoid rubbing all together..
