Upgraded...

Well I finally decided to upgrade my poor little v6 truck to a v8. Traded in the '04 F-150 XLT Heritage for a fully loaded '08 F-150 Lariat Supercrew 4X4. Here are a couple of pics.

Nice, the only thing i dont like about that body style f-150 is the shifter is not on the colum. other than that i love the truck

The shifter is only in the console on the Lariat and King Ranch versions. Or if it is equipped with the Captains Chairs. All other F-150's still have the shifter on the column.

You can also get it either way in the FX4 trim package. Thats what I was looking at getting when I decided on the Lightning instead a few years ago LOL !

Real nice, yeah! Havin' a shifter on the column versus the floor is of no consequence other than when I get in one vehicle after having just driven' one on the floor, I reach for the floor out of habit even if it's on the column and visa versa :)

From a cosmetic standpoint, on the floor looks much nicer...it's just a little less space than on the column.
