i currently have 600 carb on my motor. should I take the speed density version fi off my old motor and put that on? or just leave it the way it is. I do not want to put out the expense right now to move to maf..

Leave it alone until you can do a mass air set-up

If you're worried about the expense/hassle of MAF, then I surely wouldn't go through the hassle of a conversion to FI from carb...
