Car just needs carb, driveshaft, and battery so we can get it started. I'll get some paint on it later on this winter.... Some of the pictures are a month old and in some pixs things are not bolt up yet.

engine systems out of georgia did all engine prep work.. george(93ssp) and my dad assembled the engine... engine systems said engine should make 750hp to the flywheel.. they assembled an engine identical to this one and on the dyno it produced around 750 hp!!!

According to the custom cam grinder and Ted Fisher(Engine Systems) the #s Capri posted are very close. On Stewart Spinx gas she will shake down 700's.

Tightened fuel lines, installed chromoly drive shaft, 5 gallons of fuel in the cell, filled tranny, electrical system check....then hit the key. 4 seconds of cranking and BAM!!!!! The bad boy is alive boys! Adjusted timing, oil pressure looks good, idle looooped loooooped at 500 rpm for a minute and it sounded nasty. Bumped idle up of 1000 for breakin. Brought revs up. Got about 7 minutes of motor run time. :coffee:
Carb acted like a 600 dp on a 302. Low end throttle responce was impressive and you would never know that is was a 1200 cfm dominator.

This is guna be a F U N car!

Greg, he has a K&N filter that is made and fitted inside the snorkel, and a gasket around where the hood fits down round the carb. Some very nice fab work:thumbsup1:

Need to bang out a few little dents and get it prepped and painted. I have really enjoyed driving it on the street the last week or so. Proly got about 40 miles on this week and showed up at Bones Casa last night while we were out on a milk run.

Filter in the scoop-

Fans in front of radiator. Also make engine bay look better.
http://www.southeasternfoxbodies.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=74&pictureid=7806
Tranny Cooler for the Power Glide is in front of the fans in the bumper area.

Under car- custom 3" FULL exhaust system with X-pipe and Dynomax Ultra flow muffs with 3" inlet and 3" outlet. Yes, the pipes go "under" the axle but we have steel cable limiters so the axle can not drop down so it won't hit the axle. I can get the rear part of exhaust off the car in about 3 minutes with 2 wrenchs.

When I am ready to paint it I will pull out the motor, tranny, exhaust and paint engine bay when we paint the car.
Alright, so theres the update....

Took a few cell-phone pictures....

I can finally punch the gas now and hook it up on the street!!!

Body work- sanding is coming along....but slow.

Going to get it to the track in the next week or so and get a couple of runs in.
