Winter projects

We are just a little over 2 weeks away from Thanksgiving so winter is upon us.......just wondering if anyone has any winter projects and if so what are they?

I have one on the GT my goal is to get the brakes, stuts shocks installed and maybe even a rear gear change.......and if money is good, maybe even a lil top secret project.......but that one prob won't happen until after spring........also I want to install newer speakers and weatherstripping and outer door handles.

ill be back in columbia december 23rd or 24th. i have to do the heater core (again) before new years. i may do a few other tiny things like fix the cigaret lights and maybe swap out columns to see if thats my cruise control problem.

long term plans are to start building a motor.

Get some I need to do mu gear install, along with swap the speedo gear, brakes and maybe struts and shocks.

gotta change the heater core in the 86
and doing 5 lug conversion on the 91. still deciding on rims.

Going to swap a Tremec in the coupe with the 427 for a while. Know it wont run the times at the track as well as the C4/stall but I'll be able to enjoy it on the street more.
Make it where I can drive it on some farther trips around here.

The 89 LX vert is getting a cam swap and maybe a retune on the dyno. Going to stick it on there after the cam swap to make sure all is well. Like to get it to make 600 rwhp on the stock bottom end on pump gas before it pops. Know it'd do it easy on race gas and more boost.. Probably get around to doing the rear disc brake swap on it too. Have North Cobra style brackets for cobra brakes,11.65" rotors,calipers,etc. Just need to get a few small misc. pieces.

Going to finish the 93' putting a big block on spray. Was going to to with a turbo or the F1-R which was going to be with a small block. But I have changed my mind and I am going to build a Big Block killa.

Well, we can take the front struts off of my project list......work was really slow today and my boss let me have one of the techs swap out my front struts today...........man what a difference.......the old ones were so worn out that you could move them up and down by hand with no resistance!!!! hmmmmm. maybe since those are done.....I'll add on rear control arms... and subframe connectors.....:thumbsup1:

Popped my cherry pullin my first engine so this winter ill be rebuild my first engine..... its up in the air with what im gonna do to it... Im not doing a killin machine just something with some more snort and weekend racing but still be able to drive it daily.... ill keep ya posted

Flywheel and clutch is done all thats left is gears and subframe conecters then finish the 91.

My winter project for my 89 Coupe was to get my 6-speed installed and replace the stock radiator and fan with something different...

- Got the D&D Tremec T56 in along with a new Spec 2 clutch in

- replaced the stock radiator and fan with a Griffin / Taurus Fan setup ---> during the winter, even in traffic, I did not have to have the fans on at all...

- currently adding three guages to the new car in order to give me more info....

-- digital RPM gauge and mini shift light from Pro-Sport gauges --> 2 1/4" size
-- Autometer Colbat Boost Gauge
-- Dyno-Jet Wideband Gauge

----> the guages will be done on Monday, i'll be installing them in a Triple pillar pod that I got from Summit
