The apartment complex i live in has garages available (ok ok ok, so i'm living there because i could get a garage, and its cheap) and found a nice garage oriented forum. So i got some great ideas from that forum and a few other car guys with garages where i live. There's a lot i want to do to it, but im only going to be there another year and a half. so epoxying the floor and painting the walls seems like it might be a waste of money. im ready to get back in here throwing wrenches on my daily driver. nothing like starting a project friday night knowing you have to go to class monday morning... or ride the bus.

Nice pics Andy.........if you're only gonna be there for 18 mos....I might paint the walls cuz thats cheap......epoxying the floor I would skip.....I wanted to do that to my garage when we moved in 3 years ago.....didn't get to it and not sure if I will since there is alot of wear and tear on the floor here..........just make it like you want since you may spend alot of time there on the weekends!!

At very least it keeps the rain off of that black paint.

I have a 9ft long, 3.5 ft wide Bud Light banner that will spruce the place up a bit..........

What apt complex you live in andy. I think when i go back to school im goin to tri county, and im not even gonna look at a place if they dont have garages.

Cross Creek. it's the only reasonably priced place with a garage as far as the bigger apartment complexes go. you may be able to find a house with a garage, but it wont be this cheap. im paying 388 a month, that includes every single utility. cable and internet too, each unit has a washer dryer ect. if you go to my photobucket i have more pics of the unit im in.

U pay 388 just for you? of do u have rommies? does the garage come with it, or is it extra?

388 per bedroom. thats for a 3 bedroom. the garage is an extra 50 a month. its still the best deal in town imo. they will place you in a unit, or you can find your own people. its pretty laid back, dont have any problem from the police unless its called for.

i lived in the apartment over the summer. and theres about a two week overlap where the people who are moving out, their leases expire, and the new people dont move in. they repaint and recarpet many of the units during this time... well i happened to "procure" about 4 gallons of paint during this time. and im working out a deal with a local commercial epoxy guy to get a couple gallons of stuff they will eventually have left over. so it could still work out well. looking for some cabinets from a closing school or workshop as well...
