Fitment question

Someone I know is tryin to sell a set of Welds, 4 lug 8in wide, with a 4.5 backspacing. If I run a 255 DR will they fit? He has a 275 and they stick way out right now... I don't know ANYTHING about wheel tire sizes and backspacing. Any help is greatly appreciated..

Nevermind, I cant find anyone who even makes a 255/50/r15 thanks tho

MT makes a 255/60/15 that should work pretty nice on a Mustang, I think it's around 27" tall. I've ran 8's with a 4.5 bs with a 265/50 before, but the fenders cut the tire on bumps, and I didn't really like the way it looked.

The problem is the 4.5" of backspacing, you need 5 - 5.5" on an 8" wheel for them to fit properly. Id just buy the 15x8 Welds with 5.5" of BS and have them fit right, there are plenty of them for sale used.
