Nice GT!!

Thank you!! She has 114k miles and just needs some paint/interior work. This GT has 2.73s and an AOD :sad3: Very slow compared to my SN95. :) Thats ok, because the motor in my sn95 will find its way into my 93 soon and the sn95 will get a boss block 331 with AFR 205s :yes1:

I went a different direction. I have a 351 SVO block (3" mains) and a buncha parts to swap in the Windsor but no rotating assembly/heads yet. Gotta get the fox rolling first!

I might be robbing my sn95 of it's MAC catback/prochamber combo just so I have some beautiful music to listen to. Plus it's fortifies my evil excuse to buy new stuff for the sn95!!

On second thought, I'm just gonna leave it stock.

Finally got a break in the weather and the aod replacement job was back underway. I had the driveshaft in place, every line, connector and bolt tightened.

I then decided to begin filling the aod with some good ol mercon V. After about seven quarts, I noticed i had an issue:

$5 a quart... @&€%!!!!!
http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d73/oldawgnewtrikz/93%20gt/952b061b.jpg

rats.. I've sprung a leak! After some maneuvers that would make a contortionist blush, I realized the issue was the tailshaft gasket. A quick call to Mr. Wayne at Action Transmission netted me a free replacement. Simply because he had several on hand. Great guy!!

Sexy isn't it?

I stopped taking pictures at this point because i was pretty busy. After that fiasco, I put it all back together, got the driveshaft on, same with the exhaust, removed the smog pump, realized the replacement short belt was too long and called it a day. All that's left is plugging the thermactor holes, one starter bolt (yea, the upper ones a *****) swap the belt at Autozone, finished filling the aod with ATF and running it thru the gears. Whew... There really aint no rest for the wicked...
