Like the title says, I'm looking for folks to share their experiences as to what they like to rely on to get down the street/down the 1320/around the road course with...

Since my focus with this car was mainly straight line, my suspension was set up with that in mind. I have lighter than stock wheels to reduce unsprung weight, a full Eibach Drag Launch spring/airbag kit, Lakewood subframe connectors, UPR double adjustable upper control arms and Granatelli adjustable spring perch lowers. Lakewood 70/30's and 50/50's with the swaybar removed pretty much sums up my setup. I soon plan to add a tubular K-member and lighten the car while installing a cage that will be fairly street friendly. Let us know what yall run ! :patriot:

60' is the drag race....get it as low as you can. I .1 reduction in 60' is lot lot more than a .1 in total ET. I will take lower 60' over more MPH anyday

with that.. adj. upper and lowers with all of the attachment points welded. Eibach drag springs, Koni Spa-1's all the way around, coil over ft, k-member, and welded anti roll bar(anti squat bar), and 12 point cage. Best 60 was with the clutchless Doug Nash and a 125 shot....1.28

Nice 60 right there ! On an older setup I saw a best of 1.64, and didn't figure to ever be quicker than that out of the hole. Looks like we can definitely pick up some good info from your experience ! :thumbsup1:

My setup is

H&R sport springs
Bilstein shocks & struts
Maximum Motorsports Camber/Caster Plates
Maximum Motorsports full length subframes (welded)
Blue Oval Industries upper & lower control arms in rear
welded torque boxes - weren't damaged, but, had them welded to prevent future damage.
FRPP a-arms in front (still rubber bushings though)
94-95 discs front & rear - sn95 axles & OE Bullitt wheels
new stock replacement rack with new tierods & ends - big improvement there over worn out stocker

I'm very happy with the ride & handling. Its firm, but, not too firm drive it everyday over our wonderful, bumpy, pothole infested, rutty, Horry County roads. It handles real well....I do need to upgrade the swaybars though - I think my worn out swaybar bushings have alot todo with that though. The ride height is perfect IMO...the wheel wells are full, but, its not too low that the longtubes drag over speedbumps. It hooks well on the street...no '60 numbers yet....last time it was at the track was with no suspension mods except the springs.

We have some varied setups, and thats what I was hoping to see. It's good to see/hear how folks have tried different things, and how well they enjoy them. Keep 'em coming ! :thumbsup1:
