i just got 1993 lx triple white mustang, the motor is stock. i want to get about 400hp out of it. what is the best way, turbocharger or nitrous?

Welcome to the group.....post up some pics of your LX when you get a chance.
If you want 400 rwhp the best way is going to turbo or twin turbo........just my .02

Welcome to the site. Depends on what you want to spend to get to that 400 mark. There is several ways to get there.

Welcome, glad you joined us. There are a number of ways to get to 400hp. Do you still want the car to be relatively street driveable ? What kind of budget are you going to have for it ? You could do an N/A 351 setup, or a forced induction 302 setup and get there both ways, but it's going to cost some money either way, and we need to know what your goals/intents are so we can narrow it down a bit...

welcome brudda. In my opinion if ur looking for cheap power than nitrous is ur way to go. On the other hand if u want the power to be there without any switches or buttons, than turbo charge that stang or windsor.....

I may know more people on here than expected. I do know Wayne with the 88 GT. I sold him my old 1991 LX 5.0 Hatchback and he referred me to this site the other week. I have a 1992 Mustang 5.0 Notch that has 84K original miles. New cobra clutch, aluminum driveshaft, 373 gears, weld draglites, trickflow twisted wedge heads with FM 1.6 roller rockers, GT40 lower intake plenum, downs upper intake plenum, 70 mm accufab TB, 73 mm C&L mass air, steeda adjustable fuel pressure regulator and some other things. I have the car up for sale also.
