Hi all I was wondering if any of you would be interesting in joining us in the Chesnee Parade this year. The date is 12-14 at 2:30pm. We already have 6 or 7 for sure and would love to add as many as we can. There are a good many fox cars up in this area and Im trying to recruit as many to the club as possible. It would be nice to have at least one car with the SEFB banner on it just to get the word out. If your interested please let me know! Thanks:hi:

Here is a little more info for everyone...there is no entry fee...BUT (lol always a but huh) but we have to have the cars somewhat christmasy...ie. bows,ribbons,bells..whatever...and (yes there is more) it would be nice if we played christmas music in our cars as we ride through.
So who all is in for this one??

****UPDATE****
Ok I talked with the lady just a minute ago and man did this thing fill up fast. Its looking like there is going to be about 170 units in the parade. I explained to her about our club and how proud we are of it and she is going to put us before the Santa float. I was pleased about that myself...hope everyone else is also. She said because of the number of units in the parade that we might have to ride 2 by 2 (side by side) which I dont think is a problem I hope. The requirements are having some sort of Christmas something or another on your car. Im doing a red bow or wreath on the front. Nothing huge just something suttle is all. We have also been asked to play Christmas music while we go through. I know this seems like a bunch of rules and crap but hey it is a Christmas parade. The city will have a truck thats going to be accepting toys for less fortunate children this year so if you can bring a toy it will be appreciated for sure. Thanks for taking the time to read this VERY LONG post but I wanted to make sure were all on the same page. I told the lady that we had about 10 cars going through. As to throwing out candy...the lady told me that since a little boy was ran over last year in a town near by that we wont be able to toss candy out. I will have a buddy of mine on one of my 4 wheelers handing out candy to the kids if any of you are interested in bringing some lol

****MEETING SPOT****
1:30pm!!!!
I live very close to town and would love for everyone to meet at my house so we can roll in together. Directions to my house is pretty easy...from the G-ville area just come up I-85 north to the Chesnee (221) exit...I think the exit number is 78. Once your off of I-85 just turn left on to 221 towards Chesnee. This should take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Once your in the HUGE city of Chesnee you will notice a stop light (stop light #1)at the CVS (on the left) continue through til you get to the 3rd stop light and take a left. If you think to look the road name is Hwy 11.Cross the train tracks come down the hill and come up a hill and start looking on the right hand side of the road. I will have my car down parked on the road so you wont miss it.If anyone has any questions feel free to call me at (864)706-0511.Hopefully the weather will be nice and we can enjoy a nice day while making alot of kids happy at the same time.:thumbsup1:

Just wanted to send out a BIG THANK YOU to Kevin (midniterider) for setting this one up for us. SEFB had 8 foxes along with three non-fox stangs rolling up Main St Chesnee this afternoon. I also want to Thank our banner carriers, these two young fellows did a GREAT JOB carrying our SEFB Banner in front of our foxes to whole route...Boy were they tired from all the walking after wards, but then again so were our left legs..LOL
Also thanks to our members that came out to today, even with the look of rain and the cold air. And yes I did make it home safe and sound, My alternator went out on me near the end of the parade.
I'm uploading pics as I type this, so be looking for a thread in the :events pics" section soon.:thumbsup1:
