display only will not be judged. If you are in the show it will be judged all cars are in same area.

Should I try to get new rims and tires for my car to show it or keep the orig "turbine" wheels that have been painted and polished? How much are they gonna pick apart the 20 year old rims I am on?

Hey Bro,
Having seen your car in person...if you could, I'd try and get new ones. BUT if it means the difference of going to MW or not, then by all means go with what you got.

****, didn't think it looked that bad..... lol

It's not that it looks that bad, but it could defiately benefit from a wheel/tire upgrade. The car itself looks great:thumbsup1:...that wheel/tire combo doesn't fit the looks of the rest of the car. Nothing wrong with that combo on a stocker, but yours is far from the stocker look. Like wearing tennis shoes with a tuxedo. (somehow someone will chime in what's wrong with tennis shoes and a tuxedo) BUT again if it means the difference of you going or not, by ALL means go with what you got. Would rather you be there and have a great time with the rest of us, than not.

Mustang Week judging is a little different than most shows. They don't or aren't supposed to judge you car so much on whats done to it as cleanliness. If you are in the show and think your car is clean, clean it again. I mean EVERY inch of dirt, door jams, fenderwells, places you wouldn't normally clean.

I think everyone rode in together last year. I went early though. It can be hectic getting in the show. Even though Mustang Week Staff always says no don't line up at the door people do it every year so I usually line up at the door as well. It gets hectic first thing.

Lmao, I'm not gettin defensive.... I'm no hater. I am gonna look into geting something though. Its been on my mind for a little while now. That is the only appearance changs I am gonna want to do on it. I am going to get new headlights too. Tired of the blackouts on the front. I'll let you know when exhaust is done too. Ttyl

Dude I just got mine and there is no way it's "ready" to show, even the fenders look a different color due to the original paint clear coat however I'm gonna display anyway to be with the club for numbers. If I can suck it up and display it come on man display :)

So if you don't even display where would you park? I imagine there is a parking lot close by??? I don't think the car looks good enough to display yet, but I still wanna be near the action... And I don't want to pay $10 for people to look at my car...

If you get lucky, you could park near Hooters. Or one of the open parking areas they have for the mall.

the show area is a section of the mall parking lot so there is a butt load of parking, and with that many mustangs the show starts before you ever get in the show section.
I'll probably not show/display simply because I'll be hanging there Saturday and might try and use Fri to hit the beach. I WILL stop in, can't go with out a fox body fix!!
