I just got a set of Flowmasters from my friend, it is just the mufflers with the flow tubes ... I want to install them with turndowns..... who sells some that I can use band claps or crimps and get em right before I move. (Piss my neighbors off. I am moving do I care? ) So does anyone make em and sell em? Thanks.

Thats where I got mine. Just bought the tips and welded them to my tubes. I think It cost me less than $20

You are going to HATE the turndowns--I did. Drone in traffic (flowmaster is already a drone prone muffler), gets the back of your car all dirty (blowing debris up), and makes the interior smell like exhaust ALL the time. Tailpipes baby!

ive got turn downs on both my cars. hasnt been to bad.

the ones from autozone are a little long for my taste. i usually just walk into the back of my local muffler shop, ask the guy to make me up some, he grabs some scrap and makes them, and i throw him 10 bucks.

I had Turndowns on my 88 Convertible ( 0n it when I bought it ) and just recently installed the Flowmaster American Thunder system with tailpipes and what a difference! The sound is so much sweeter sounding coming from the rear of the car. I have an off-road x-pipe and a bigger then stock cam and you can hear the tump a lot better now! I can actually hear the radio now, even with the top down.
Turn downs have thier advantages, eazier to install for sure! There's also no tailpipes in your way when working under the rear of the car or clearence problems with wider then stock wheels & tires. To each there own, but i pefer tailpipes on mine!http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx231/griffithvirgil/88%20GT%20exhaust/88Gtnewexhaust001.jpghttp://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx231/griffithvirgil/88%20GT%20exhaust/88Gtnewexhaust003.jpg

I cant see turndowns throwing dirt on your car unless you have the turn down at your bumper, My turn downs are right after the muffler. I love the sound. Plus tailpipes don't look right under my huge skirt like rear bumper...
