this may sound a little selfish, which is really not me, but meeting Cotton and Bud and talking bout "Coker" was the high point of my whole day. Hearing him say Papa was his "best friend" I think is what sent me over the top. I never got to meet him and to be there talking bout the man I have been told all my life I was just like and hear someone who knew him as well if not better than my family talking bout him with love in his voice was something I was not prepared for. Then hearing Cotton tell Nana, " we are still in the same place, look up COE we ain't got so big we don't answer the phone" and then giggle was just too cute. I can't wait to go to his house and see the pictures he was telling me about. Learning more about the man who I never got the honor to meet and enjoy seeing my Nana with friends of her younger days. History of my own to make :)
Doing something wonderful for needy kids was wonderful and I love doing this but meeting a part of my family history was all that and more. Thanks so much Scott for making sure I was there and speaking up for me when I was too nervous to do so.

I'm sure that '69 Grande with the 428 caught a few cars sleeping back in the day........only thing that tipped it off was the emblem on the scoop

Thanks for the kind words Kevin. That is what we love to hear, and is why we started this club in the first place.

Man, I was right down the road. I knew I should have talked my brother into going out there for a few hours before we went to Greer....
