Anybody coonhunt

I'm getting ready to head out coon hunting tonight, just wondering if anybody else around here coon hunts:thumbsup1:

yea it's fun. Getting together with your friends, letting your dogs tree a coon. then you shoot it and your dogs fight with it.

I have been a few times.the most fun you can have in the freezing weather running through thick woods and briar's jumping in creeks lol i like it.

That never seemed to get in the way much at all when I was a youngster growing up in South Carolina, but I see where it could. Things are different now for sure...

I use to go all the time, until my dad (Robert L Whiteford) passed away. I have over 100 acres of land we hunted on. He had access to the Greenwood State Park, where we had some feeder buckets and hunted a lot. WE won the Hall of Fame Hunt several times, Plott Sectionals, Grand American as well. He hunted and handled dogs all over the US, was sportsman of the year for SC many years. His friends still hunt a lot and use our cabin and stuff- but I haven't been since his death 2 years ago. Sure had some fun though........ ROBIN
