I came across an all original, un-molested 85 Mustang GT w/AOD. I guess the AOD versions came with C.E.F.I. Does any know how hard and what would be needed to either convert this to 86 - up F.I. or to just go carburated?

the conversion would be the same as any 4cyl build.carb would be easy-er.a fi conversion would be fairly simple and straight foward

If it is in perfect shape, it may be worth something one day. They are low #'d, last year of carb., and first year of EFI. So, who knows..........

Just so you know the AOD versions with the CFI aren't roller cam motors... Just the carbed 5spd cars in 85' were. They are flat tappet cam motors rated at 180 vs the carbed rollers at 205.
My first car was a 85 LX coupe with the 5.0/AOD setup.

The CFI cars were slugs, but like XSR said they didn't make many, and although I doubt it, it COULD be worth something in original condition someday...

Can anyone say Barrett-Jackson. Everything on there is overpriced!
