So Leo Sr called tonight....

my father and i do not speak very often so when his number came up on the caller id i knew something was up. A 21 year old punk robbed my Aunt a couple of nights ago and in the process beat her so badly that she is in ICU in Atlanta with doctors saying she may not make it through Easter. She and her husband were asleep when one of their son's friends broke into the house to steal my uncle's cash and personal stash. he attacked them both but the uncle was treated and released. that punk is safe behind bars tonight where we cant get to him. he is charged with aggrivated assault of a high nature and could be upgraded to murder if she does not live. my father waited a couple of days to let me know so the police could get him before me. To say that i am angry is only a very small part of how i feel. i pray she make it through this but the doctors are not giving us a lot of hope. thankfully for her, she is in a coma

Aunt Cathy is the youngest of all my father's sisters. she is only about 10 years older than me and took care of me growing up. She was/is as wild as they can come from Alabama. She has always been poor in money but RICH in spirit. She is a fighter being the youngest and i hope it serves her well in this fight for her life. What a cowardly thing to do beating a family while they are asleep. :angry:

I am saddened by reading this Leo. I hope your aunt will pull through. I also hope justice is served. My sister was able to visit with her in the hospital. she underwent brain surgery and has been in acoma since.. Christy was able to get her to squeeze her hand and Christy says that Aunt cathy tried to move to sit up which is really good news. the nurses said that she had only responded to pain up to that point.....
