Has there been any discussion on a calander with each fox of the month....?

Well we got to have at least 12 FOTM first..hehehe But yes I kicked the idea around of some type of SEFB Calender. One idea was a group shot from an event for each month. Also asking our sponsors to help with the cost, by give them ad space on the calendars

That sounds like a great idea. My Challenger made the carolina rides calender last year and it was awesome! Your right though we gotta get more pics first. I say do an 2010 calender with every fox of the month from next year in it.

For the '09 calendar......you could use the FOTM for this year and supplement it with pics from various outings, GTG and events from this year...Moutain run, Mustang Week, Pony run, the QS&L cruise in from Feb, etc..........just my .02

I agree, we have plenty of nice foxbodies on the site to choose from. Or even put up a bunch and vote for the ones people want in the calander.

Then maybe in 2010, we can use the previous years FOTM's for the calender, just an idea.

Actually the calendar could be merely an SEFB calendar & not dedicated entirely to cars of the month. You could "mix it up" a little by doin' sumthin' like:

January.......A collage of everyone who submitted a pic, where you'd have all the cars on display...the size would be dependant on the # of rides.
February......A GTG pic that was hosted that month or ANY mnth for that matter
March........Fox Body history
April..........Pics of the MEMBERS, not the cars
May..........A few pics of SEFB cars at the track
June.........Fox trivia
July..........A pic or two from Mustang Week (with SEFB cars) :)
August.....SEFB history & SEFB specifics & some info/pics of the founders

Etc, etc...You get the idea :)

This way the calendar is inclusive of e/one. People are more apt to get sumthin' if they see THEIR car or THEIR pic plastered all over it...much more of a keepsake don't you think? It's the same as if your child was graduating from kindergarten in the spring...you're much more likely to go to the event than if you weren't married and didn't have any children...same concept :)

On another note while I'm at least in the "IDEA" thread & in the idea "mode"...

On the annual meeting (Christmas GTG?), what about some sort of an award or recognition for a few? Any gift or item could be donated by either an auto parts store or local retailer at no cost to SEFB. Some ideas on that would include:

*Most referrals to the board over the previous 12 months
*Best attendance to SEFB events throughout the year
*Recognize the supporting members with a certificate
*Sponsor recognition for those in attendance & represented that evening
*FOTY (Fox Of The Year)…anyone can be candidate or only FOTM cars as a possibility(?) Must have been a member of SEFB for a minimum length of time
*Best Contributor…Vote for the person who has offered the most help on the board with their advise with technical issues, etc…
On & on the list could go…

Crazy/fun/silly awards:

*King Of The Mountain… The member who rules & reigns with their arcade scores
*Post whores…Those who post over a certain # of posts throughout the year
*The Grave Shift Member…Member with most posts between 12am and 7am
On & on the list could go…

Just tryin’ to be creative & brainstorm a bit with myself. Doin’ stuff like this will only help build on the camaraderie. When people take ownership of something, that’s when growth is impacted the most!
