be sure to get a mass air meter that's matched for those injectors. you won't have to have it tuned for that combo. you could have to get a little more power out of it though. the "e" cam is pretty tame and I doubt you'll hear it very much. I've had an "e" cam in 2 mustangs and it idled just like a stock one did.

an E-cam chops good. I've had two. it has a 110 lobe seperation I think. good hard lick. look at somthing different IMO. get somthing made in this century. holocomb has a good cam section in their catalog. a steeda 19 would be a good cam that would not need to be tuned.

it wont need a tune. ive been running an Fcam with a stock tune for years now. helps to have good o2's though so the computer can learn and adjust to it.

however, a tune would help to optimize the combination, the more you modify a car from stock, the more hp increase you will see.

I'd put some 1.7s on there as well. That will help alot. You honestly dont need the 24# injectors but it won't hurt to install them as long as you have the right meter. Make sure you have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator.

don't know what you were listening to, but the E-cam in no way sounds like a stock 5.0 cam

Cant beleive you got rid of that car. That was a build that I actually followed on HPJ, next to littlemotors build and Tubbed 440. Just realized who you were when you posted that.;)

any major change from stock can adversly affect your tune..i would at least put the car on a dyno and find out you air fuel ratios..sometimes simple adjustments with timing and fuel pressure can help but even a bone stock mustang can benefit from a tune with a chip
