Its been killing me to get some base runs on my mod motor before i add some aftermarket parts. So tonight the wife and i headed to Kinston to check it out.Keep in mind i have a 96 Non PI motor with only headers and a cold air intake with 3:73 gears. I was hoping for some 9.5 but looking to see 9.8-10.2....Heated to tire a little and eased up to the staging lights...Hit the gas and off i go.....Its no speed demon by no means but i was tickled to see a time of 9.28 @ 74.8 2.1 60 ft on the sheet. Cooled off for a few and ran it again. Left a little harded this time and picked up over a 10th...9.16 @ 75.0 2.0 60 ft...With the times i ran i'm hoping to see a high 7 all motor car after the H/C/I swap. A few pics of the nights fun....And yeah the guy in the red Chevy II knew he had no chance at the lights.....LOL

Always good to get a baseline. Are you going to run ported PI's or the new TFS heads?

Here are a list of the new go fast parts:
Heads are stage II 600 lift springs from ModularHeadShop I want to say they are ported to 205 on the intake and 192 on the exhaust
Cams are stage I VT N/A....May step up to a Stage II
Trick Folw adjustable crank gears and MMR Billet Cam spacers
Intake is a PI with some porting
Upper is a 75mm C&L
TB is a BBK 75mm
MAF is a 90mm Lightning
Headers are BBK equal length with stage 8 lockers
24# injectors with AFR
Tuning is Sniper
Trans is a T-56 and may swap out the rear to 4:10 gears....
MSD all the way...wires, coils and a DIS-4 box <<<<That box hurt my wallet...$$$$

I have all the parts but the tuning software and a few gaskets

If i step up to stage II cams if anyone is interested in a set of stage I, I will make ya a deal....Stage I will run with stock valve springs and with or with a tune....Better with a tune...
