Since I have had my GT the heat has not worked......finally checked the
heater hoses going in and out of the heater core and both hoses were hot after driving back from work today so I'm convinced the cable that moves the temp blend door is bad.....before I tear my dash and such apart anyone out there have any words of wisdom on how to do it and pics would be a bonus.........
Thanks in advance

As to the dash removal just take your time so you'll remember how to make up time if you need to ever do it again, and if you're uncomfortable have a shop manual handy...

:headscratch:Not so sure, but do you need to remove the dash????? You should be able to get to it,by removing the guage pannel and dropping the glove box......:headscratch:

Just open the glove box, push the tabs in and let it all the way down and look for the cable. You should be able to see it, move the temp knob and see if the blend door moves.

I was at the end of a 20 hour drive and 4 hours sleep in the last 2 1/2 days, so I missed that although he mention the heater core, he wasn't actually replacing it. The dash shouldn't have to be removed for that repair...:)
