I was driving back from autozone when I picked up my valve cover gasket and after getting up to 50mph rather quickly LOL the car started running really rough.

After I did my gasket I drove it again and it was still there so I pulled wires one at a time to see which wasn't firing and I noticed a diff when I pulled #2cyl and the motor died when I pulled #'s 3-4.

The only one it didn't make a difference was #1 cyl so I pulled all the plugs out regaped them and put them back in there was no change.

I then pulled #1 cyl wire again let it run for a min or two then turned the car off pulled the plug and there wasn't any gas on it so I then unplugged the injector and it didn't make a difference.

I'm getting compression in the cyl although I don't know how much. I am getting spark in each cyl even #1 so that isn't the problem.

What is your guy's opinion I think I fried an injector.

Another thing I have noticed is that I am running 12lbs of steady vac were I would ussually run 18lbs.

if its not running on all cylinders, then it won't make as much vacuum. you need a test light and test to make sure the injector is getting power

Ok I plan to check timing and check the under the valve cover tomorrow.

Swap the #1 injector into the number 4 hole and see if the misfire follows.

you need to check your wiring also.

X2 on the wiring and on the vacuum hoses and pipe connections.

BTW, Felpro vc gaskets suck. You need a motorcraft one from ford for $30 and they are reusable for like 20 years. Anyway, you may have collapsed a lifter.

Well I'm going to check the injector wiring today the timing and look under the cover and see if there is anything wrong there.

Ok well timings good injector is pulsing nothing wrong under valve cover visually but I can hear the compression escaping when I crank the car over I know it is from CYL 1 but from which valve I have no clue I'm guessing I have to pull the head off now?

I think I'm just going to make a video of how it runs for you guys cause the more I listen to it the more I don't know.

Instead of pulling the head, leak test it!!!!! Man, I'm trying to save you from a headache and wasting time/money. You may as well just blow it up.

I don't have a leak down tester and I don't have $85 to rent one plus I don't have an air compressor. There wasn't compression escaping through the valve it just seemed like it cause I had the intake off.
