They offer us a car wash area, security patrolled parking lot just for our stangs, we pretty much has the Tiki swimming pool all to ourselves, plus this is where we hang out in the evening,

Hell for 78 a night I could stay two weeks there for what I paid for a week at the sheraton. It was crazy high. Plus you had to pay to freakin' park in the garage. Plus like nine dollars a day for the internet.

Yea screw that!! I know the Resort rooms have wireless internet, the hotel has wireless in the lobby, and wired in the rooms i believe. If you stay in the resort you can have two cars in the parking garage. No matter what building you stay in, you have use of ALL the pools and lazy river.:thumbsup1:

I'm sure they will still give us a discount from last year. I think we got 10% for a three day min. Not sure what it will be this year but this place is very nice

i liked the place alot, the pool are was cool, the beach is right there. of course the gang that hangs out at the tiki pool is great. and the price is really great. esp with the discount. i stayed a full week for elss than 500 i think. maybe less.

Is it closer to the speedway or closer to the the mall? Where is it in relation to the Sherton. It's close isn't it from what I remember?

It's not really closer to either. It's South Ocean Blvd. BUT it makes it a lot easier to get the group out together and stay together. We cross over Kings Hwy, and hit Hwy 17 Bypass to the Mall.

How nice is the Tiki building? What section is everyone staying in? I was just thinking for a hundread bucks a night is ocean front really worth it? Hell I'd be closer to the car, I'd save a ton. Unless the tiki building is just a **** hole.

We will be staying there again, it was great having the area to wash our cars!!

I enjoyed my stay there.

I stayed in the Tikki, usually want oceanfront but too many car events to do so why pay for oceanfront....

Cheapest would be a room in the TIKI Building which is across the street. But this is where most of us hang out by the pool and ours foxes are parked right there also.
The rooms there are $78 a night before any discount.

basicly I want to be ON the beach.

so...heres a random question: Tiki building...bathrooms. I was checking out the sight and all the other rooms note that they have bathrooms...except the Tiki building rooms... how the heck does that work??

Yes the Tiki rooms have a bathroom....LOL The Tiki is an older hotel building right across the street from the Main hotel & Resort.:thumbsup1:

Got my room booked. Seemed kinda cheap but I didn't complain. I'm staying Tuesday-Saturday night, leaving Sunday morning... Hopefully pulling up in a truck with the coupe on the trailer, if not going to be driving the coupe down like last year.

I'm thinking of staying the same nights. If you don't mind shoot me a PM with what it ended up costing to stay there for those nights/what kind of room.
