Im going to be refreshing my engine this winter with new bearings rings seals etc.... I was planning on builing something bigger but due to being financially strap my pockets aren't gonna handle my dream build. I want to at least change H/C/I. I want to get some GT40's but, No P's and alphabet cams.:thumbsdown1:

So give me some direction please....:thumbsup1: I have an A9L ready to be install i should be doing it this weekend

Here we go.....If you are gonna do a H/C/I swap.....even if it takes you a few extra weeks,months,ect......Go with a aftermarket head....Elerbrock,Holley,Afr,Trickflow,ect.......N ONE of these Pro Form heads(unless you plan on spending some $$$ to fix their imperfection out of the box) The GT-40 route,is a waste of $$$....Let me explain first......The Gt-40 heads, are decent for really mild combos.....If you dont have a set,or cant find a set dirt cheap, you best bet is to drop that $$$ and get the stock heads worked over by XSR or somebody.....In other words you'll get more for your dollar.....Dont get me wrong I like the GT-40's,but there are so many more options out there, that will get you the same power for the same $$$ or less........

Based on the heads you choose, then I would decide on the cam,and intake........to support them
