I got my TwEECer R/T in a week or 2 ago and so far have loved it if I had a good laptop battery so I can datalog. I set my MAF transfer, injector slopes and CID and it runs 1 million times better. I know I still have a lot to do but the idle and driveability is great now, no choppy idle and no cutting off after a coast down decel like an off ramp. Anyone else play with these thing or have any advise. I also would like to burn my tune to a chip so I can use my TwEECer on my other cars, anyone got any ideas???

What setup do you have, I would love to do this kinda like a side job.

What do you mean what setup? Computer to run the tweecer? Car setup?

Just check out the other thread in tuning...it has the web site and info for chip software in it......

The way I read the website from the other thread the chip burners and chip don't say anything about EEC-IV Ford. I am just asking what everybody else is using as far as chip burners and chips. Also does anyone know where I can get flow numbers from a T/B???

Sweet, is there any software I need to burn the calibration to the chip so it can be used in my processor. Thanks for all the help.

I use Binary Editor, it is not free but it has allot of features such as tune compare that the free ones don't. If you are just getting in to it start off with eec editor. It is free and has great support.

I downloaded the BE and EA files but no funds for the fee's yet. So, Fast50 you make you adjustments with the TwEECer and then when you have it where you want it, you just burn it to a Moates chip and remove the TwEECer and insert the chip and either sell the TwEECer or save it for another ride or later TwEEC-ing.

Now that I got the TwEECer, I did the MAF Transfer, set my CID, Injector slopes. Is there anything else I should look out for?? Easy simple tweecks?

Sorry I haven't replied I am out of town so getting on line is spotty.

I use my tweecer to test diferent tunes then when I get it dialed in I burn it to a moates chip using BE for both.

As far as things to tweek, it depends on your ride. Some cars a very touchy about mods and it takes more adjustments. My car was very simple and some people say a blown car is the hardest to tune. You have the big things already set then if it drives good under part and full throttle and your happy then don't touch anything else. Some people want to touch every parameter to try and make it perfect, I say if it drives like a stock car under part throttle then don't touch anything else.

Are you using a wide band? If not you need one because you might have a lean spike that you cant feel but that might destroy your motor.

Working on the wideband... Not working right now.... I got a bad lug/surge under 2000 rpm in 4th and 5th, almost like a wheel hop, but not spinning tires. I need to set the TP and idle tho, the 347 doesn't like TW heads and a Edel RPM intake with a stock TB, the TP is at 1.27 volts at idle b/c I had to up the idle screw to make it idle before I got the TwEECer. Other wise under part and WOT it runs 100X better than it did on a stock tune. Its the SOP method but I KNOW power is up and it will spin all the way threw 3rd now and bark 4th. Before I could spin 2nd and it wouldn't bark 3rd it would just bog. I show all my buddies, my tune #1, stock tune #2, A LOT different.
