Anyone wrap their headers? I've got BBK short tubes and thought they would look cool wrapped. They were chrome but they look like doo doo now. I thought the wrap might make the engine bay a little quieter and cooler. If you've done yours stick up a pic or two.

ive done headers and my turbo hotside parts...clean the headers and spray them with high temp BBQ black paint or other high temp paint..best way to wrap headers is to soak the wrap in water first...this allows the wrap to go on alot easier and wrap really tight. black header wrap looks sexy:thumbsup1:

we wrapped the -10 fuel feed line on the race car and it was the biggest PAIN IN THE ***!

I wrapped some shorties on an 89 I had. Somewhat of a pain. Be prepared for itchy hands and arms.
