Well guys i know i am bugging the crap outta you with a ton of questions. I am new to the fox world and want to do this project right. Here is what i am looking to do please point me in the right direction. I am building a single turbo 331 on my 93 notch. I am looking to do the 5 lug swap, also some better brakes down the road. I would like to do a cage and tighten up the subframe a bit. I have the motor out now. I know a lot of people swap out the k member and remove the sway bar. I will not drive the car much but want it to be a street car. Should i change out the motor mounts or the k member? The car has bbk springs on it now. Some kind of shocks that are blue i did not see a label they might be stock the front say hotchkis? it has 4 way CC plates. Thanks for the help guys.

I dont have a sway bar on mine, and it rides fine. And its HAMMERED! The groves in the road pull every now and then, but a bump steer kit will take car of that. I would suggest go ahead and gettin a k-member, just for the simple fact, that if you dont know, you will wish you had. Several of my buddies have them, and not one of them regret gettin them. If you lookin to go 5 lug. i would suggest gettin some cobra brakes. 94-04 there all the same. And you will need, 94-95 spindles to make it work. (im not sure if it changes with a k-member or not, i would find out for sure before you buy) The calp mounthing brackets are VERY important. those are hard to find and very expensive to buy new. I would suggest go ahead and doing every thing rite now. If you wanna upgrade the brakes later, why not do it now. And for the rear, get some mosier(sp) 31 spline axles. Best way to go. That why you have nuttin to worry about. if you at the track and you wanna lauch at 5 grand on slicks, who cares, do it. Cuz you spent the time doin it rite the first time. Also what tranny are you wantin to go with. A stock AOD, and a t-5 will only hold so much before they go BOOM!!! But thats just my .02, hope that helps

thanks for all the info. I plan on doing the 5 lug swap. I found found a few write ups on what all i will need. I see you can buy a kit but i am not dumping 2k in to it. I will pick up some axels from the junk yard. As you said the brackets are hard to find. I want to keep the car a stick. I would love to put a 6 speed in at some point that can hold some power. maybe a t56 but not sure about any of that. What are your thoughts on a cage and who makes a good rear seat delete?

The only cage i have done, i helped build it for my buddys car. And we did it at a friend of ours shop who does a lot of muffler work. So he just bought the tubeing, and we bent it on his machine. And built it to his specs. So with a cage........no clue. A rear seat delete. ummm....... tak your back seat out and call it a day. lol, i dont know on that one eather. Have you thought about a TKO tranny? Eather the 500, or 600. The 600 5th gear is the same as the T56 6th gear. And its about 5-600 cheaper. And the TKO is stronger that the T56, there only rated to like 450 Tq. Yea i know they hold more than that. But thats all there rated to hold. Now a Viper spec T56, thats a BAD mofo.

Blacksheep has you heading in the right direction. In reference to the cage give trai a pm on here, his screen name is nastynotchback1 and his business is ETRacewerk and they do cages. He can tell you what you need to know. I've seen first hand some of their work and it is top notch. As for the rear seat delete take your seat out and make your own. It's not that hard and very cheap

sounds good. I will shoot him a pm and see what he has to allow. Nice looking rear seat delete. You going to lay some carpet to it? Mine would be a little diffrant since its a notch but can't be that hard.

LatemodelRestoration sells a 5 lug conversion kit for $399 if you dont mind keeping rear drums on the car.

I'd have the cage done locally too, and I'd also be inclined to do my own rear seat delete to save coin...
