" the Blue Angels are still committed to performing for the Charleston community that same weekend and will fly a demonstration over the Charleston Harbor as a finale for the Charleston Naval Week activities."
first off, I wonder what the Naval week entails. secondly, depending on when they do the demo we could still catch em. we'll put that in the "might maybe could" section.

Mellow Mushroom
T-bonez (and Kaminsky's)
Jim N Nicks BBQ
Wasabi
Tsunami
Bubba Gump
AW Shucks
Noisy Oyster
Kickin Chicken
Wild Wings
that about scratches the surface. I'm a huge fan of Mellow Mushroom, lol

Well I am sure if we need a place to meet, to start a cruise we could use my works parking lot. It is only minutes from downtown. We are off of Savannah Hwy (17) . On the part about cruising down town. That might be a bit difficult just due to keeping everyone together in the downtown streets, and then finding parking down there. Shoot that's a whole new deal. My thoughts would be something like maybe meet somewhere like here, then do a cruise down 17 pending on how far we want to cruise to get to place to eat.? Heck if it's a nice day out then we could take a long route going down old 61, cut back up Dorchester to Ashley Phosphate to Hooters? Or shorter route up to I-26 at Cosgrove up I-26 to Hooters? We could go on and on.
Anyway back to my point. Give me a day and I am sure we could use the parking lot. Plenty of room to park for a bit , hang out, show the cars off, possibly have folks stop by to drool some and then when we want hit the street..
Let me know

any way, 17 days out, what's the vote,
where should we officially meet?
where should we eat?
where should we cruise?
I'm down for anything, we have options on both sides of town
(good old Sonic in Summerville or RUNINAGT's work down on 17) so when we figure out where we want to eat we can decide which would be better.
as to the cruise,
We can take old 61 again
We can cruise to one of the beaches
Or maybe some one else has an idea?
For food the options are endless, We did just get a "Five Guys" in Summerville... MMMMM. As a matter of fact we have to thank Five Guys for our newest Lowcountry member! :lol1:

where should we officially meet? 444 Savannah HWY @ Hay Tire Co,
where should we eat? Moe's in Summerville by Target
where should we cruise? To Moe's. They serve beer :yes1: . My thought meet @ Savannah Hwy, talk crap leave out down 17 to 526. 526 to I-26 to Summerville. Moes is on the right. Parking lot in shopping center should be plenty big, just have to walk thru parking lot to eat.
Guys I know the guy that owns the Moe's here and I just talked with him. He said that he would be glad to offer a discount of some sort if we end up at the Summerville store. They offer a special on Mondays only, but he said let him know and he will offer that special to the foxbody club on that day. So again just let me know.

It's pretty easy to get to, from Summerville/Cola direction
I26 all the way into down town Charleston, stay toward the right.
it dumps you onto 17,
Follow that through down town and it will bring you over the river
pass the Round Holiday Inn, under three overpasses. stay to the right and you will see it on the right.

Coming from Beaufort, you must turn on Wesley Dr to get in our parking lot. There will be an Exxon on your left. Also a Ye Ole Fashion Ice cream parlor. You will make the turn on Wesley between the Exxon and Ice cream parlor. Then turn right into the parking lot. Come towards the flagpole.
From I-26 just as stated above. Stay on 17-s once you pass the Round Holiday Inn we will be the 1st parking lot on the right.
Guys is it fine to have other years of Stangs in this cruise. I am cool with that, I feel the more the better. Should be a nice little roaring noise coming down the street... :thumbsup1:

We usually meet at/around the new one on 78 by Buffalo Wild Wings, the parking lot out there is plenty big enough to handle a handful of cars.
as of this moment we have six confirmed, Chip might come down with Vickie and I'm not sure if Kyle (Kylemdotcom) has a rider or not, I just sent him a PM to confirm.
got three more local folks but one hasn't been active in a while so I don't know if we'll get a response from her...

Where we meet is up to the majority. I personally am a fan of Summerville cause lets face it, most of us live in Summerville.

Its about 35 miles, the map says it takes "1 hour 9 min" but I'm going to run it Saturday to see how it is and how long it really takes (any local guys want to join just PM me)
if it's a nice route we could simply meet in Summerville and avoid the down town area all together.

I'm personally a fan of the back roads for actually enjoying a drive. a nice slice of it runs in Summerville so we'll still have some 'show off' time, and of course we'll be rolling into the shopping center and there's bound to be at least a half dozen people in there :lol1:
Kyle 2 is fine, if you want we can meet up in town square and head out from there.
Once we get a drive time for this route we can confirm more exact times for everything. Look for an official eye catching schedule post to come Saturday or Sunday. :thumbsup1:

I'm personally a fan of the back roads for actually enjoying a drive. a nice slice of it runs in Summerville so we'll still have some 'show off' time, and of course we'll be rolling into the shopping center and there's bound to be at least a half dozen people in there :lol1:
Kyle 2 is fine, if you want we can meet up in town square and head out from there.
Once we get a drive time for this route we can confirm more exact times for everything. Look for an official eye catching schedule post to come Saturday or Sunday. :thumbsup1:
sounds good ill pm you my phone number if you need anything

Lowcountry SEFB April Meet
DATE: APRIL 17th
Location: Summerville
Meeting 10:30
I think it would be best to meet in townsquare before the cruise.
Coming from the highway
you continue down 17A. DON'T TURN!
coming directly off the highway you will get in the left middle lane (the furthest left lane becomes the turn lane to Sonic) continue on down and you will come to the train tracks/townsquare.
As soon as you cross over the tracks make a right and then a left. it is a parking street with shops on the right and a park on the left.
Coming from Beaufort
you will turn onto Trolley road as always but do not make the Right onto Berlin G. Myers Parkway, continue to the next stop light and make a right onto 17A
Follow that in until you come to townsquare, the park will be on your left, you will want to go to the end and come around the end of the park onto the street we will park on.
We will head out on the cruise at 11:00 (or sooner if every one is present and ready to go)
The cruise route takes just under 1 hour.
that will put us back in Summerville and at Moe's right around 12:00 to finish up with Lunch.

What do ya guys think about me posting something on Craigslist about this to see if we could get more Stangs involved.
The square near the shops? Do you think those shops may be busy. Just want to make sure we have a place to park with no issues.

i doubt they will be too busy. if they are we can always meet & park across the street in the parking garage

oh yeah we parked there during the Flowertown Festival. Kinda small though.
So we're meeting in the middle of downtown Summerville on that one way road in front of the shops? Sounds good I'll be there.

Exactly, if the shops happen to be busy the parking garage is plenty big enough, the only way that would ever be full is the festival.

I see that may be an option on the shirt site. Anyhoo, I saw him come-out on Chuckles and stood on the pedal and looked for your "5.0" 3rd brake light. That's cool.
